Regional Duels

University students from SIFE across the country have the opportunity to apply to host one of eight regional personal finance case study "Duels" for six teams of four SIFE students in their region. Awards of up to $16,400 will be made to schools that are chosen to host this competition. These funds will be used for the execution of the "Duel," prize money for the winners, and a cash award to the host school. The University of Arizona Credit-Wise Cats will assist schools in the design and execution of their "Duel," will provide an original case study with judging criteria and potential solutions, and will attend the event in person. The first place winner of each regional competition and a team from their host school advanced to the National Duel in the Desert, held March 6-9, 2008 in Tucson, Arizona.
